The position is expected to convert to permanent satus after 3-4 months (assuming issues do not arise related to performance or attendance), and there is also room for growth later, as openings become available for additional Team Leaders or Supervisors. This position is daytime shift and weekdays only. The main function of this role is to enter and update accurate medical and pharmacy records information into the employer's computerized documentation system to ensure complete quality documentation for the employer's clients (medical facilities/institutions), while under the supervision of a Medical Records Supervisor. Each Data Specialist has a cubicle in the Data Entry Center, and is responsible for maintaining approximately 1200 patient files. During the 4 week training class, the schedule will be Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch.
